and I don't know why. I just don't feel my good old self for some odd reason. I don't feel like doing anything and I just want to be alone and not around people - they have been bothering me so bad. I almost sound as if I'm depressed - I'm not, just BLAH! Do they have meds for BLAH?

Let's try this again
Alright - I'm trying this being motivated thing again. It's so hard!
Here is the food that went into my tummy today (23 points allowed)

- 2 points coffee (I have one more day of the wonderful stuff - then it's bye-bye until Easter)

Well I had no energy to work out today. I thought since I'm trying to get back on track here I can take it easy for a bit. Tomorrow I hope I have the same will power. There was even yummy candy in the staff lunch room today, but I didn't touch it. I looked at it longingly and almost gave in. I placed the lid on the container about 4 times. Ahhhhh..... Why does this have to be so hard?

A dose of Motivation?
Does anyone have a dose of motivation they are willing to sell? I was going so strong and I just want to give up now. I know - "you are doing well, blah, blah, blah". But, I lost my spark and need to find it. It seems like this every winter.
I guess a lot of it is I'm frustrated beyond belief. If you don't want to hear about women problems stop right there and close the window.
I watch what I eat and exercise and I just don't lose a thing. I'm thinking it might be an issue caused by my birth control (IUD). My doctor asked how I liked the form of birth control I was using and I said that I loved it. She said that she was thinking of doing it, but didn't want to because of the side effect of not being able to lose weight or you gain weight. Well that might be the deal then for me. Since I got it last April, I have been stuck and stuck some more. Should I stop the use of it? But it's so easy and I don't even need to think about it. The thing is, I'm not sure we are done having kids, so I don't want to take extreme actions.
Any thoughts?

Pancakes - Yummy
I'm a girl who loves to eat pancakes and I have cut back to having none! Why should I eat a pancake with the diameter of 2 inches for 3 points then slather syrup on for another 2 points?
Well I saw an advertisement for Fiber One Pancakes, so I bought them to give it a try. For a 1/2 cup of mix it equals only 3 points and the pancake is huge. I then bought sugar free syrup and it's only 1 point for 1/4 cup. I made them this morning, but of course burnt one, trying to get the kids ready for church and make my breakfast at the same time - not a good thing. I finally made a good one and they tasted pretty good! The batter tasted gross - I like to eat batter, but not this one!

Another Week
Well we went to the farm show on Friday! Which means yummy yummy yummy food. So, I cheated - oh well. Yesterday I went scrapbooking and had tons of yummy food again. I hoped back on the wagon this morning and starting all over!

Where is the Snow??
Well it didn't happen. they said we were suppose to get 1-6 inches of snow. We have a millimeter of snow, some sleet and nothing else. :-(
I had a scrapbook party. I only had one person show. That stinks doesn't it? I'm glad at least one person came because I felt really bad for the woman. Creative memories now has a computer program that you can make your pages up on your computer and just print them out and place them in your scrap book. I'm so into getting this!!! Just think how much time it will save to do some of my pages with this program. They print 12x12 pages. How cool is that and they look like they have been scraped!
Today was a rough day for eating. I have the munches. I'm off to exercise, if I can get my legs moving. I'll fill in my food points later.

I didn't exercise last night because I can't move my legs!!! I practically cry when I have to go down steps. Beth has killed me. I have to at least workout tonight to keep up with everything,
We are suppose to get snow today. Haven't seen any. We bought the kids snow boots, but I refuse to take the tags off. If we don't get snow I am returning them. Also, why are kids boots so expensive? They were them like 2 or 3 times and that is it. I just don't get it.

Death by Beth
Well I went to a workout titled: "Death by Beth" tonight. Once of the teachers in our district has it Tuesday and Thursday nights. So, I thought I would give it a try. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it was rough. My other friend said, just do what you can. I'm thinking she thought I was really out of shape. But, I kept up with them. The only problem I had doing was jumping jacks (my bladder doesn't do so well since I had kids - it's very weak. I think I need a diaper next time - not a big one, maybe newborn size) and a plank.
I went to my conference today. They had sandwiches, salad, macaroni salad, chips and cookies. I had a sandwich (with only half the roll) and salad. I left the cookies and chips alone. Yeah for me! I'll finish my post later about my points for today.
Tomorrow is weigh in day!

Day 5
I'm sitting here watching the Biggest Loser, my favorite show. I watch this and it helps me realize, that I am doing a good job watching my weight and trying to keep it off. I have had 40 plus pounds off for over a year now. It's those last 20 pounds that are the hardest. If I wasn't doing a good job, I would be over 200 pounds.
Here is my break down of points for the day (can you guess what I had - SOUP!)

Day 3
Well I have made it to day 3. I know the most challenging days are to come. I'm very proud of myself and didn't have 1 cookie!!! I sat in front of them and touched one about 4 times. I picked it up, sat it down, picked it up, sat it down, etc... But, I didn't cave in. I had an extra cup of coffee instead.
Writing down everything that I eat is a great big help. Here is my point break down for today.

Day 2
I did great until - I was making cookies tonight. I just looooooovvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeee cookie batter. My son is receiving his first communion tomorrow and I asked him what he wanted for dessert and he said, "Sugar cookies with icing and sprinkles". AHHH! What is he thinking.
I even went out 2 times today.
I went out to lunch with my great friends Pam and Amy - without the kids. We just loved being able to sit there and talk without being interrupted about 50 times.

Change my life - Day 1
Well today was the first "official" day to change my life.
I tracked all my points and food and drank all my water (which I find to be the thing that works for me). Here is what I had today

- 2 points Coffee with Mocha Mint Flavoring
- 0 points Lettuce
- 3 points 3 ounces of chicken breast
- 2 points Fat Free Honey Mustard Dressing
- 2 points Hot and Sour Soup
- 1 point Broccoli Slaw
- 5 points Tomato Bisque Soup
- 3 points 3 ounces of chicken breast (again)
- o points Lettuce (again)
- 0 points Salsa
- 0 points 1 tablespoon of Fat Free Sour Cream
- 1 point Banana
- 1 point Popcorn
Tomorrow I am meeting some friends and Ruby Tuesday (HI Pam and Amy). I have planned out my meal. So, Pam and Amy make sure I stick to it.
I'm going to have the salad bar (no cheese or croutons or slaws or bacon bits - only light dressing) and a cup of white bean chili (Ruby Tuesday) or I will go with the chicken wrap.

Mental Breakdown
I had my annual mental breakdown this morning. Does that ever happen to anyone else?
As you all have read I have been dealing with weight issue, most of my life. I was never thin in middle school or high school (1 year when I lost a lot of weight).
This morning Tim had to witness my emotional breakdown once again. I just want answers and can never get them. As some of you know I really don't eat anything "bad" or large amounts (only on special occasions). These are my questions, my thoughts, my statements:
- Why can't I ever loose it all when I mostly eat healthy everyday?
- I don't ever eat anything fried
- I don't eat candy (maybe it would equal 3-4 bars a year)
- I don't eat chips (maybe 1 or 2 times a year)
- I don't eat ice cream (maybe 1 or 2 times a year)
- I'm not a big drinker
- I only drink water and occasional diet soda (sometimes less than 2 a month)
- I do love coffee - maybe that is my issue, but I only have 1 cup a day (2 points with cream)
- I keep track of what I eat - in my yellow polka dotted tablet (that goes every where with me)
I'm sorry for ranting, but I need to leave it out some where.
Also, why does a new year always make everyone want to start loosing weight?
Does anyone have a trigger? I have found mine and it's sad to say but it's true:
- When I go home to my mom's, dad,s or mother-in-laws house. When I am there I tend to want to eat and eat and eat. Why is that? Is that where the problem began? Maybe this is an issue that I need to resolve. Even though I go with good intentions, they always fall through.
