Back to School Pillowcases

I finished 3 back to school pillowcases this afternoon. I'm stocking up for the craft fair that is in October. If you see a case that you like - let me know. I'm selling them $10 a piece or 3 for $25

Back on track

Well it's a new day and week.  We are at home and I'm really watching what I am eating.  

Started working on back to school pillow cases.  I'll have to remember to post pictures when I get some done.

Random Recipes

I have never posted a recipe on Pam's blog - thought I would give it a try.

Chocolate Chip Cookies (Weight Watcher's Recipe - they are yummy~!!)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flout
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp table salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, miniature
  • 1 spray cooking spray
  • Preheat oven to 350˚F
  • Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife.  Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl
  • Beat butter and brown sugar with a mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy; gradually add granulated sugar, beating well.  Add cocoa and egg whites, beating well.  Gradually add flour mixture, beating until blended.  Stir in chocolate chips
  • Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray.  Bake at 350˚ F for 10 minutes.  Cool on pans 2 minutes or until firm.  Remove cookies from pans; cool completely on wire racks.  Yield: 40 cookies (serving size 1 cookie = 1 point)

Tail between my legs...

Alright I blew it.  I ate and drank and ate and drank (not to much drink, but a lot more than I'm use to, since I don't drink anything at all).  Oh, well it is over and I'm just going to get back on track.  Maybe it's what I needed.

Tomorrow is a new day and I'm positive that I can do a great job.

What day is it?

I'm at that point that I don't know what day it is.  I like that, but don't at the same time.  Has that ever happened to you?

I was good for 2 days watching what I ate, but I gave up counting points.  It's been so hard figuring out everything, since we take turns making meals.  So, I have been trying to be careful with the amounts I eat.  I have had a few cookies here or there, but only when we get back to the house.  I'm fine at the beach, but when we come back around 3 I have major munchies.

Hello from Bethany Beach!

Don't you love to see a picture of me?  Yeah - I know I have two pairs of sun glasses on.  My ghostly white body - hardly got burnt.  Just around my straps.  The kids are having a great time.  I have been pretty good watching what I'm eating - but, I'm having some adult beverages in the evening though.  I'm loving - Pete's Wicked Strawberry Blonde Beer!  Have to love it!

I did!

I went to get weighed in this morning and I was down 2.4 pounds! YEAH!! So, not stepping on the scale thing worked. It made me really watch what I ate and I didn't sneak things in because the scale went down. Well we head out to the beach in an hour. I will probably be blogging from there, since we have wireless access and Tim needs to write his paper for his graduate class - why not blog since I am able to.
