Happy Birthday

Well Delton will be turning 3 on Friday! Can you believe it? I got my sewing machine back Saturday, YEAH!!! I finished Delton's birthday pillowcase tonight and even another one I did as a gift (I'll post later). I even got a few pages done for my scrapbook.  Boy, I actually am starting to catch up.  I'm still 1 1/2 years behind.

Bib and Pillow Case

I made this bib about 3 weeks ago and have finally got around to post it.  I used a hand towel and did the rest.  The neck hole is a little big.  I had some problems with the towel because it was ribbed.  I won't be getting one of those again.  Doesn't Chloe look cute?  She was not amused about modeling. 

I had to go to my mother in laws house to make Delton's Valentine's Day Pillow case, since my machine is broken and in the shop.  Like the flames?  I tried to make it more manish, which is hard to do with hearts that are red and pink.  My grandmother didn't get why there were flames.  I just thought it was a nice accent for a boy's pillow case.  "You set my heart a fire!"

I have a few pages to post that I did at club this past weekend.  I have some accents to add to it, so when I get the TIME to finish, I'll post them.

I'm soooo sad!

My sewing machine is broken and I can't finish Delton's valentine's pillowcase.  :-(

The fun is over.

Well yesterday was my day of scrapbooking from 9-6.  I didn't get as much done as I wanted.  I was adding details to other pages so I only had time to create one new layout. The details are what take the longest. Oh, well I had a great time. I won a door prize from Sweet 'n Sassy - 2 stamp sets. Can't wait to use them!! I also won a silent auction from Beth Cardwell Photography .  With winning the auction I get 2 - 8x10's, 2 - 5x7's and a photo session all for $85 dollars.  The photo session alone is worth $125.  I can't wait to see what she does.  She has some beautiful shots on her page.  She was thinking of taking some shots in the city with our kids.

The first set is from our friends wedding, Shawn. We don't have many pictures from this wedding because our camera was stolen at the wedding reception. We had tons of pictures because it was in St. Louis and Delton's first car trip.

Here is 2 pages from the Farm Show in 2006.  This was my first trip to the Farm Show and Delton's too.

The next 3 pages are pages from a vacation in Williamsburg with my mom and Dale.  This was in 2006 too.  I know I'm behind, need to catch up sometime.

These are my last two pages and my favorite. I need to add something to the top of the second page, maybe another picture. I have one, but I need to find it.

I'm sooooo EXCITED!!!

This Saturday coming up I am going to a crop all day!!!! That means I get to work on my scrapbook. I got some pages done this past weekend at my stamping club, but need to put finishing touches on them before I post pictures. So, my goal is to get all my lesson plans done tonight and not work on a thing all week for school and get my things organized for the crop! I hope I can do it!

I have been beyond busy these past two weeks. I was able to get my daughters stocking done around 2 am Christmas morning. I had my sons done years ago - since it is his 3rd Christmas. I'm going to rip his apart though and finish it the correct way, since I have become better at sewing.

Thursday I completed Delton's Christmas Pillow Case. I need to start working on Julia's stocking, I hope I get it done.
